Before joining the army, BTS member Jungkook writes an impassioned message to his fans, saying, "Time spent with you guys..."

Before departing for his required military training, BTS member Jungkook, a member of the South Korean boy band, wrote an emotional letter to his followers.

Through Weverse, the singer expressed his feelings and thanked his supporters, referred to as ARMY, for their unwavering love and support throughout his musical career.

Jungkook began his letter, according to GMANetwork, by saying, "Dear ARMY, it's already the end of November, and the wind is quite very cold." As you may already be aware,

I am writing a brief letter to everyone of you. I'm going to be leaving you for a bit to serve in the military, and I'll be starting a new journey in December.

While I break this news, my heart is both heavy and warmed by the priceless memories of our ARMYs that immediately spring to mind.

Additionally, Jungkook revealed that even though he wants his fans to wait for him, he is feeling "cautious" because there will be a long wait. "The most bright moments of my life have been the times I've spent with you guys up to this point," he continued.

I am very grateful to the ARMYs for their love, support, and smiles that have brought me this far. I appreciate you all walking this path with me in silence and for your encouragement and support.

I'm hesitant to ask you folks to wait while we perform our military duty. A year and a half is a considerable period of time.
