Broadway Baby, Senior Singing Show Songs

Four young theater actors, including Corey J from Broadway's "MJ," performed at an Upper East Side senior center.

Corey J, dressed in Michael Jackson attire, sang "I Want You Back" to about 50 residents who clapped along in floral chairs.

The performance was part of a monthly Broadway event series at Inspir Carnegie Hill senior living, organized by Evan Rossi and Broadway Plus.

Previous events featured Broadway actors like Julie Benko, Charl Brown, and comedian Alex Edelman.

This event marked the first time child actors were featured, including Aria Kane, Benjamin Pajak, and Jillian Paige Platero.

The young performers received an unexpected enthusiastic response from the senior residents.

Evan Rossi, the organizer, expressed astonishment at the residents' excitement, stating it surpassed anything done in the last three years.

The actors, aged 9 to 12, showcased their talent on a smaller stage, creating a memorable experience for both the young performers and the older generation.
