Bronny James, LeBron's son, is expected to recover from his cardiac arrest.

The James family declared on Thursday that their son Bronny, who was diagnosed with a congenital cardiac condition,

will resume his training regimen with the University of Southern California (USC) the following week.

Four months after going into cardiac arrest during practice, Bronny James, the 19-year-old son of NBA superstar LeBron James, has received medical clearance to resume collegiate basketball activities.

The James family declared on Thursday that their son Bronny, who was diagnosed with a congenital cardiac condition,

will resume his training regimen with the University of Southern California (USC) the following week.

The James family released a statement saying, "Bronny James is now cleared by his doctors for a full return to basketball."

"Bronny will return to games soon after his final evaluation with USC staff this week. Practices will resume the next week.

"The James family would like to thank all of the amazing medical staff, the USC community, and especially the innumerable friends, family, and supporters for their love and support," the statement reads. Carry on the fight!

James, a highly sought-after high school prospect who was closely observed because of his well-known father, chose USC in May.

However, Bronny James passed out during a workout in July and spent three days in the hospital before the heart issue was identified in August.
