Cowboys Watch As Eagles Win in OT Over Bill

FRISCO – The Dallas Cowboys spent the first half of Sunday as if it were a "regular workday," the strangeness of the Thanksgiving Week scheduling crunch prompting

the day to be transformed into one of locker-room time, meetings, and media duties here inside The Star

But what about the second part of this NFL Week 12 off? It was about watching football... and rooting for the opposing team.

Unfortunately for Dallas, top MVP candidate Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles found a way again,

this time with a dramatic nine-play, 75-yard drive to give Philadelphia a 37-34 overtime win over Buffalo.

Hurts' 12-yard touchdown run concluded the drive, giving the Eagles the victory. ... and a 10-1 record... and, to Hurts' credit, his 14th straight victory over a winning squad.

Philly committed enough errors to appear frail. However, in the end. Hurts' three passing touchdowns and two running scores maintained the Eagles atop the NFC playoff standings.

The Cowboys, led by Dak Prescott, are 8-3 and have a chance to reduce the gap in two weeks when Philadelphia visits DFW. The Eagles will face another powerhouse in the Niners next week.
