Director of JUSTICE LEAGUE Zack Snyder defends Aquaman star Amber Heard and praises Ezra Miller's THE FLASH work.

Ezra Miller, a polarizing choice for DCEU's Barry Allen, faced increased scrutiny due to a series of controversies, including disorderly conduct, harassment, restraining orders, accusations of grooming, burglary, and peculiar behavior.

Despite the controversies, Warner Bros. proceeded with The Flash's release, attempting damage control with a statement from Miller and a brief appearance at the movie's premiere.

Justice League director Zack Snyder expressed occasional communication with Miller and offered support during their recent mental health and legal issues.

Snyder acknowledged Miller's performance in The Flash, stating, "[They] did a great job in that Flash movie," highlighting the challenge of playing against oneself.

Amber Heard, cast as Mera in Justice League and Aquaman, is no stranger to controversy. Her public divorce from Johnny Depp involved allegations of defamation and domestic violence from both sides.

The controversies surrounding Heard's personal life have stirred public discussions and impacted her professional career in the DCEU.

Both Miller and Heard's involvement in the DCEU has been marked by personal controversies, raising questions about the studio's decisions and public perceptions.

Despite the challenges, Warner Bros. and Zack Snyder have addressed the controversies surrounding Miller and Heard, emphasizing their professional contributions to the DCEU.
