Doctor Who's "Wild Blue Yonder" Trailer: David Tennant's Next Adventure Takes A Terrifying Turn In Episode 2

As the first trailer for the second Doctor Who anniversary special, "Wild Blue Yonder," is published, the Doctor and Donna Noble fight unknown opponents in a strange, scary place.

The episode is the second in a three-part commemoration of Doctor Who's 60th anniversary, which began with "The Star Beast" on November 25. 

"Wild Blue Yonder" will be released on December 2nd, and episode follows the Doctor (David Tennant) and Donna (Catherine Tate) as they go to a hazardous realm without the assistance of the TARDIS.

Following The Doctor and Donna's unintentional liftoff in "The Star Beast," the official Doctor Who YouTube channel has published a trailer for "Wild Blue Yonder.

"Donna and the Doctor set out to explore their mechanical surroundings after a bumpy landing caused by Donna accidently spilling coffee on the new TARDIS console.

However, as life forms are detected nearby and the Doctor and Donna are separated, the couple is scared of what this new universe has in store for them.

Among Doctor Who's three 60th-anniversary specials, "Wild Blue Yonder" has been the most cloaked in mystery. 

Beyond Tate and Tennant, the episode's cast has been kept a secret, save for a mysterious rusty robot that first appeared on the show's poster, and the episode was mostly shot in studios.
