Dolly Parton’s ‘Rockstar’ Roars In Atop Country, Rock & Alternative Album Chart

Released on November 17, Dolly Parton's 30-song album Rockstar debuts at the top of Billboard's Top Country Albums and Top Rock & Alternative Albums lists (dated December 2).

Her first on the latter, and her tenth No. 1 on the former, are added by the legend.

According to Luminate, the rock-inspired record sold 118,000 copies of its equivalent album units during the week ending November 23.

Parton debuts the album at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 all-genre chart, her highest career rank and third top 10. She had already been to the top with Blue Smoke (No.

6 in 2014) and Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris's Trio (No. 16 in 1987).Additionally,

Rockstar becomes Parton's first No. 1 song when it debuts at the top of the all-genre Top Album Sales list. Its availability at stores like Barnes & Noble, Cracker Barrel, 

 Dollar General, and Target helped to boost its first-week sales.
