'One and only' Avril Lavigne looks stunning on the Canada Walk of Fame red carpet in an all-black ensemble.

In Canada, Avril Lavigne is at last receiving her bouquet. The 39-year-old pop-punk icon from Canada was inducted into the Walk of Fame on Saturday night at a 25th anniversary celebration held in Toronto. Canadians who excel in a range of industries, such as entertainment, sports, and humanitarianism, are recognized with the Walk of Fame.

At the event, which took place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Lavigne wore an asymmetrical skirt, black turtleneck, cropped zippered leather jacket, and knee-high black boots, all in her trademark all-black look. The singer of "Girlfriend" and "Complicated" joined a number of other well-known Canadians who were honored with Walk of Fame inductions on Saturday.

People showed their support for Lavigne in the comments section of one round-up post, which was shared by the official Canada's Walk of Fame Instagram account.

"You deserve it so much, [Avril Lavigne]! My favorite Canadian of all time, without fail. Love you so much, " wrote a fan.

Another said, "Omg, pop punk rock princess legend." "I'm honored to be one of your fans. You are a successful woman who has inspired a lot of girls.

You are a great example for everyone, so well deserved this recognition," someone else said. Another person raved, "One and only," and tagged her account.

"Look, mother. The singer wrote, "I got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame," as the caption for a 2022 photo.

"I love you because the old Avril would have looked amazing in this exact outfit! You haven't changed for anyone; you are exactly who you are. Best wishes, pop-punk royalty!

One person wrote, "You deserve this long overdue recognition." Another said, "It's about time!" and a third said, "The hoodie is iconic." "While watching the ceremony, I started to cry when I saw you wearing the hoodie," stated a fan. "I'm really happy for you! You were worthy of it!"
