In 2014's Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Olsen made her MCU debut in a post-credits scene as Wanda Maximoff.  

Subsequently, the actress secured a significant part in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and the Scarlet Witch's fame continued to rise over time.  

Wanda gained popularity in the MCU thanks to Disney+'s WandaVision.  

She then had a villain arc in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which seemed to conclude with Wanda's demise. Olsen now discusses her future in the MCU. 

In an interview with Meghann Fahy of The White Lotus for Variety's Actors on Actors series, Olsen was candid about her plans to become the Scarlet Witch.
