Elon Musk warns about ‘digital god’

In an interview with Andrew Ross Sorkin of CNBC, Elon Musk reportedly made several

the most audacious statements he has ever made regarding the future of artificial intelligence (AI), as reported by Cointelegraph.

According to sources, Musk reacted to queries regarding recent lawsuits that have been filed against some of the billionaire's competitors

the artificial intelligence area for suspected copyright infringement. These lawsuits were filed against the competitors at the time of the interview

The only thing I can say is that by the time these lawsuits are resolved, we will have a digital god.

I don't know. At that point, you are able to pray to the deity of digital technology. So, um. According to Musk's explanation, these lawsuits will not be decided within a timescale that is meaningful.

It is believed that Musk is making a reference to the concept of superhuman intellect, which is typically referred to as "artificial general intelligence

or sometimes simply AGI. In a period of three to five years, an entity that is capable of rendering the judicial system in the

United States irrelevant would be able to meet the requirements to be considered an artificial general intelligence (AGI) construct.
