Hot chocolate is delicious, but *Whipped* hot chocolate is out of this world.

Just when you thought hot chocolate was the ultimate fall and winter beverage

content creator @fitwafflekitchen has given us a reason to make it even more decadent.

Eloise Head, baker and author of Fitwaffle's Baking It Easy, shared her recipe for whipped hot chocolate on Instagram

and her 1.8 million followers rushed out to buy the three basic ingredients

hot chocolate powder, double cream, and chocolate milk — to prepare the delectable treat.

It's like a luxury hot chocolate, but better," she writes in her Instagram post.

The secret to upping the ante in this recipe isn't all the chocolate; it's the double cream.

This dense cream is skimmed from the surface of milk and is known as heavy or whipping cream in the United States.

To prepare the whipped hot cocoa, just whisk together the chocolate powder and double cream until soft peaks form

then pipe the whip on top of the chocolate milk (hot or cold — your choice), and garnish with marshmallows if desired.
