International Star Sophie Korthuijs Joins Women's Golf

 Ball State women's golf coach Cameron Andry signed international star Sophie Korthuijs to a national letter of intent.

"We are incredibly excited for Sophie to join our program beginning next fall," Andry. 

She is competent and has played in several international tournaments. 

Sophie is entertaining, competitive, and driven to succeed. She will fit in our culture with such mindset.

Korthuijs, who will play for the Cardinals in 2024-25, is 366th in European Golf Rankings and 1313th in World Amateur Golf Rankings. 

 She has two wins and 14 top 10s in WAGR countable events since 2022 and 53 lifetime top 10.

win the German Junior Masters, and finish 16th in the European Club Trophy.

Korthuijs placed fourth in the Dutch Junior Open, 10th at the English Girls U16, and 17th at the British Girls U18.

Her skills helped her reach 18th in her age group's European Golf Rankings.
