Jets CB Sauce Gardner's One-Word Reaction to Stefon Diggs Hit Fine

Things got heated between the AFC East rivals during the Buffalo Bills' 32-6 victory against the New York Jets last week.

In the third quarter, Jets cornerback Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner grabbed and threw Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the ground.

Gardner was flagged for unnecessary roughness after the suplex, and the NFL fined him $10,927 on Saturday, November 25.

The fine irritated the Jets' No. 4 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. Gardner responded briefly to a report about the exorbitant price on X, then known as Twitter.

Gardner, who signed a four-year, $33.4 million contract with New York last year, can pay the penalties.

The Jets' 4-7 record probably stings much more.Gardner was the Jets' lone bright light against Buffalo, save for the foolish penalty.

The All-Pro cornerback limited the Bills' top wide receiver, Stefon Diggs, to four catches for 27 yards.

Bills head coach Sean McDermott lauded Diggs for remaining calm following the hit.
