Kevin Costner might decide not to watch Yellowstone's last few episodes.

Kevin Costner, star of John Dutton in Yellowstone season five part two, could not be in it at all.

The next installment of the sweeping Western drama, according to Deadline,

is scheduled to begin filming in the spring of 2024 since Montana's winter snows must have melted before then.

The article claims that, despite the publication's assertion that anything is conceivable,

Costner's comeback for the series' climactic chapter is not currently planned, as he left the franchise earlier this year.

Regarding Costner's reported falling out with Paramount, Yellowstone director Taylor Sheridan stated to The Hollywood Reporter back in June,

"My last conversation with Kevin was that he had this passion project he wanted to direct."

When he could finish with Yellowstone was the point of contention between him and the network."I said: 'We can certainly work a schedule toward [his preferred exit date],' which we did."
