Baltimore revealed on Thursday that they have extended their contract with quarterback Lamar Jackson for five years. 

. Less than two weeks after Jalen Hurts signed a sizable extension of his own, Jackson will become the highest- 

paid player in the NFL with this agreement, which is reportedly for $260 million with $185 million guaranteed.  

This moment was never assured, as Jackson declared last month that he had asked for a trade earlier in the summer. 

However, the Ravens never made an investment in a replacement at wide receiver beyond Tyler Huntley, and Odell Beckham Jr.
