"Rio Police Investigate Tragic Fan Death at Taylor Swift Concert – Organizers Under Scrutiny"

In response to the death of a 23-year-old fan who became unwell during Taylor Swift's "The Eras Tour" in Rio de Janeiro last week,

the city's police announced on Friday that they had launched an investigation into the show's organizers.

If the entertainment company Time for Fun (T4F) (SHOW3.SA) has endangered someone's life or health, the police will look into it.

Fans and concertgoers claimed that despite the intense heat in the city, which reached 59.3 degrees Celsius (138.7 degrees Fahrenheit) on the day of the event,

they were not allowed to enter the arena with water bottles.

On Friday night, at the opening night of Swift's Rio tour in Rio, Ana Clara Benevides became unwell and passed away in the hospital.

Just two hours before she was scheduled to perform, the American pop artist had to postpone her concert the following day due to the severe weather.

Rio's civil police issued a statement saying, "The event organizers will be called to give evidence and further investigations are underway to ascertain the facts."
