The $82 million "Perfect Fit" trade proposal for the Miami Heat

If there's a reason why there are as many Miami Heat trade rumors involving DeMar DeRozan as there have been recently in the NBA

Naturally, at that point, DeRozan was the main asset shipped to San Antonio as part of the trade that sent Kawhi Leonard to Toronto.

DeRozan was not given the opportunity to compete for a championship, but the Raptors went on to win one under Leonard's leadership.

DeRozan hasn't even come close, in actuality. He participated in two post-season series: one with the Bulls and one with the Spurs.

However, since leaving the Raptors, he has failed to make it past the first round.

Erik Spoelstra could want nothing more than to make that happen.

A Miami Heat trade for DeRozan would bring the coach the kind of versatile, high-scoring power forward he is lacking now.

DeRozan is in the final year of a three-year, $82 million contract the signed in Chicago, making him a potentially perfect fit for the Heat
