The NFL world reacts to Daniel Jones’ payday

The New York Giants and quarterback Daniel Jones reached an agreement on a contract extension that will pay a total of $160 million over the course of the next four seasons.

This come after weeks of speculation. The transaction was finalized within a few minutes of the deadline that the National Football League had set for teams to assign their franchise tag.

The Giants will now utilize the franchise tag on Pro Bowl running back Saquon Barkley, which will ensure that the Giants' deadly offensive duo remains together for the 2023 season.

In the moments immediately following the conclusion of Jones' contract, Barkley took to Twitter to express his elation:Wide receiver Darius Slayton has been the most driving force behind the Daniel Jones hype train on Twitter.

No one else has been responsible for this. Given that Jones' extension has been officially confirmed, it should not come as a surprise that Slayton was present once more to promote him:

Despite the fact that many people may be quick to dismiss the worth of Jones' new agreement, strong safety Tony Jefferson is aware of the value of a quarterback who can lead a club.

Given the abundance of outstanding passers in the National Football League, Jefferson is relieved to see that Big Blue has secured their own:

Other players who were not on the Giants roster provided their opinions on the significant extension.
