Tim McGraw Reveals Why He Couldn't Look at Faith Hill and Their Daughters During ACM Honors Speech (Exclusive)

ET went backstage at the Academy of Country Music Honors, where McGraw received the Icon Award.

After 30 years in music, Tim McGraw has remained humble and kind. In August,

ET's Cassie DiLaura interviewed the country legend backstage at the Academy of Country Music Honors, where he received the ACM Icon Award. Despite scores of hits,

10 No. 1 country albums, and three GRAMMY Awards, McGraw told ET that he feels "undeserving" of the award.

Deadline reports that AMC expects $126-$130 million in global box office sales for the first weekend.

"On one hand, I feel like I've been doing it for a long time, but I feel like I got a lot more to go," said.

"So I hope this isn't, like, the capstone on my career, but I'm very appreciative."

"I'm not an awards guy, but I really appreciate my fans," he said. I value industry artists. Inspiration from other artists is appreciated.
