Tom Holland has stated that he will not be making an MCU Spider-Man 4 sequel. Just for Fun

Tom Holland has stated that he will not make another Marvel Cinematic Universe Spider-Man film for the sake of making another.

According to Collider, Holland is in active discussions about a potential Spider-Man 4, but he is so protective of the character that he would need a compelling reason to make it.

"All I can say is that we have been actively engaging in conversations about what it could potentially look like for a fourth rendition of my character," Holland said in a statement.

"Whether or not we can find a way to do justice to the character is another thing."I'm very protective of Spider-Man. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have been able to work on a franchise that improved with each film and grew in popularity.

Holland has previously expressed a desire not to tarnish the beloved trilogy of recent Spider-Man films. IGN said all three — Homecoming,

Far From Home, and No Way Home — were excellent in our reviews, and Holland appears to want to make another if it can match that level of quality.

Having said that, the actor appeared to be optimistic about finding a good idea earlier in 2023.

"I think we found the reason [we would do another film]," Holland said in June. "I'm very pleased with where we're at in terms of creativity." But I'm also a little worried about it.
