Uzo Aduba welcomes a daughter and says, "Joy like a fountain" to mark becoming a first-time mother.

Uzo Aduba is happy to have become a mother.

Aduba declared in the Instagram post's caption, "I'm a Mommy you guys," on Thursday, the day she revealed Adaiba Lee Nonyem to the world.

The 42-year-old actor from "Orange is the New Black" shared two pictures of herself holding her newborn in a hospital bed.

"My female child. Never in my life have I fallen so deeply and swiftly in love. Really, guys, I'm at a loss for words. My heart is overflowing," wrote Aduba.

"Grateful, God. I am ecstatic as a fountain. I feel privileged to know you are ours, and I have seen a miracle. Adaiba Lee Nonyem, you have our undying love."

Aduba was congratulated on the new family member by friends ranging from Jessica Chastain to Naomi Campbell, Gigi Hadid, Gabrielle Union, Dakota Fanning, Iman, Lena Waithe, America Ferrera, and Niecy Nash.

"You are extremely lovely and deserving of all the happiness in the world at all times! Congratulations!" Chelsea Handler offered her thoughts.

Aduba revealed her pregnancy on the same day that she unveiled her baby bump at the June Tony Awards.
