While divorcing, Jeezy claims to be "gatekeeping" his daughter, while Jeannie Mai asks for "primary" custody.

While going through a divorce from the TV host, Jeezy has accused Jeannie Mai of serving as the "gatekeeper" of their daughter.

Monaco, the artist, who was born Jay Wayne Jenkins, is the one child of 46-year-old Mai.

After two years of marriage, the "Soul Survivor" rapper filed for divorce in September.

Since then, the former host of "The Real" has been staying temporarily at the couple's Los Angeles residence; as per the most recent court document, both have discussed custody arrangements in a "informal" manner.

Although the filing states that the parties agree on a visitation schedule through 2023, Jenkins claims that informal resolution of "custodial and parenting time issues" is "becoming increasingly less feasible."

Even though the "Put On" rapper doesn't think Mai is "acting maliciously or with specific intent to harm," according to the document,

he does think Mai "has acted as a gatekeeper when it comes to (Jeezy) exercising parenting time."

Jeezy says that Mai has meddled in his relationship with Monaco, which is "causing confusion and tension between the parties and is working to stifle the development of" his relationship with his daughter. He emphasizes that this interference is not malicious.
