‘Yellowstone’ Final Episodes Move to November 2024, Spinoffs ‘1944’ and ‘2024’ Ordered

In November 2024, “Yellowstone” will air its final episodes

Paramount also greenlit two spinoffs, “1944” and “2024,” a contemporary series. The new shows are created by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios, like the flagship.

May saw the cancellation of Taylor Sheridan's Paramount Network smash "Yellowstone" after five seasons.

Paramount had previously planned a two-part fifth season. The first eight episodes aired November 2022–January 2023.

The writers' strike and SAG-AFTRA strike prevented production from restarting. The writers' strike ended in September, while the actors' continues.

“Within five years, we grew ‘Yellowstone’ from a hit U.S. cable show with five million viewers into a global hit franchise with over 100 million fans and multiple extensions – and, we're just getting started,”

said Showtime & MTV Entertainment Studios president and CEO Chris McCarthy.

On the heels of ‘1883’ and ‘1923’s’ success, our new planned spinoffs, ‘1944’ and ‘2024,’ will take audiences on a thrilling, new, and unexpected journey with the complex and compelling storytelling that has made the franchise a global cultural phenomenon – thanks to Taylor Sheridan.”
